JOHN BRIGGS, PhD, has written for years on creativity and wholeness. His books include Fire in the Crucible and Fractals: The Patterns of Chaos. He co-authored three books with
David Peat: Looking Glass Universe; Turbulent Mirror and Seven Life Lessons of Chaos.
Emeritus Distinguished Professor of writing and aesthetics he taught for 25 years at Western Connecticut State University where he was as co-chair of the English Department and one of the founders of the Department of Writing, Linguistics and Creative Process. The author of Trickster Tales (2005), his stories and poems have appeared in numerous literary publications. He is also a fine art photographer. Briggs is currently at work with colleagues on a book about Indigenous consciousness.
